Lady Prospectors fall short in Consolation Bracket Semifinal

FRENCHTOWN – The Granite Lady Prospectors rallied late, but fell just short against West Yellowstone, 50-44. The loss came in the Consolation Bracket Semifinal of the Girls C Western Division Tournament, ending their year.

“These girls have really improved,” said GHS Head Coach Cash Laslovich. “We have to work out in the off season! Next year will be our year for sure!”

The Wolverines led for the entire game, holding a 42-32 margin after three periods. Granite’s 12-4 rally over the final eight minutes brought them close, but just not close enough.

Montannah Piar led the Lady Prospectors with 14 points while Addi Lilyquist added 12.
