PHILIPSBURG – The Lady Prospectors suffered a slow start but rallied to beat visiting Twin Bridges in four sets Thursday night, 15-25, 25-20, 25-11, 25-23. The close match starts of Granite’s 2019 season at 1-0.
Amelia Hill and Reece Pitcher had eight kills each to lead the locals with Haddie Tallon dishing out 16 assists. Pitcher had five of the team’s seven blocks, Audrey Radtke was tops in digs with 19 and Serenity O’Donnell led in service aces with four.
The Lady Prospectors will hit the road Friday to play at Harrison/Willow Creek and then the Manhattan Christian Tournament Saturday.
