Granite girls explode for 18 in final period to stage road win

TWIN BRIDGES – The Granite Lady Prospectors staged a furious fourth quarter comeback to beat Twin Bridges on the road Saturday. The victory sends the locals into the postseason on an up note with play beginning Thursday in the District 12C tournament.

Tied 19-19 heading into the final period, Granite exploded to score almost half of its final point total before the final buzzer. Comings had eight of her game-high 15 points in the period with Shelby Struna getting all five of hers over the same stretch. Amelia Hill also got into double figures with 10 points on the night.
