Winter Weather Advisory issued for Granite County, surrounding areas

GRANITE COUNTY – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Granite County and the surrounding areas.

The advisory goes into effect at midnight and lasts through 6 p.m. Monday night.

Snow levels are expected to reach 5,000 feet with total accumulations from 3 to 8 inches.

The NWS advises that travel in the area could be affected. Drivers should slow down and uses extra caution, especially over mountain passes.
