Lady Trojans, Prospector Men advance to consolation title games

FRENCHTOWN - The Drummond Girls held serve while Granite Boys stepped up to claim a big tournament win. Girls Varsity Drummond 43, Valley Christian 28 The Lady Trojans got of the gate fast and finished strong as they held off a charging Valley Christian in the semifinals of the consolation bracket. Drummond's early lead was highlighted by tough defensive play that got them out to a 14-5 first-quarter lead. The margin would increase and eventually return to 10 late in the game, but Drummond clamped down for the win.
