Lady Trojans get first win in Lincoln

LINCOLN – The Drummond girl’s basketball team found its way into the win column Saturday night, defeating the Lynx 61-22 on the road.

Drummond (1-2) held the Lynx to just four first half points while scoring 31 to take a commanding lead they would never relinquish. Sydney Phillips led the scoring for the locals with seven that included a pair of three pointers on her way to 11 for the night.

Deana Parke was the top Lady Trojan scorer with 14 while Hannah Bradshaw chipped in 12.

Drummond will get a week off before taking on their county rivals the Lady Prospectors of Granite on Friday, January 15 in Drummond.
