Lady Trojans claim road win in Darby

DARBY – Drummond used a 24-2 second quarter run to claim a 61-27 win in Darby Friday night.

After taking a two-point lead at the end of one period, the Lady Trojans were paced by a 15-point period from senior Sydney Phillips on their way to outscoring the host Tigers 24-2. The resulting 37-13 lead proved more than enough for Drummond to secure the win.

Phillips had a game-best 21 points with teammates Deana Parke and Liz Perry each adding eight.

Drummond will return home to face Valley Christian Saturday night.
