Lady Prospectors falter in Seeley Lake

SEELEY LAKE – Granite played hard, but it wasn’t enough as they fell in straight sets to Seeley Swan 25-12, 25-23, 25-17. The loss drops them into the consolation match of the District 13C Tournament against Valley Christian.

The winner of the match can challenge into the Divisional Tournament if they second place team is one they have not played yet in the event.

After losing the opening set, Granite rallied to come within two before falling short. The Blackhawks secured their trip the tournament finals against Drummond.

Amelia Hill had nine kills to lead the Lady Prospectors. Rachel Ward handed out 15 assists, Lucia Lee had six blocks and Asha Comings served up all four team aces.
