Granite tops Twin, Ennis bests Drummond in Saturday road matches
Lady Prospectors def. Twin Bridges, 3-2
TWIN BRIDGES – The Granite Lady Prospectors played a tough match against the Falcons in Twin Bridges and survived a five-set marathon to emerge with a 25-15, 25-13, 24-26, 25-23, 15-7 win.
Granite collected 39 team kills with Asha Comings leading the way with nine. Shelby Struna had 15 of Granite’s 29 assists and tied Comings with 11 defensive digs. Amanda Hill and Reece Pitcher had three blocks apiece and Alexis Phillips was tops in service aces with six.

Ennis def. Lady Trojans, 3-0
ENNIS – Drummond pushed the host Mustangs in their opening set, but fell off the pace and finished with a straight set loss to Ennis on the road, 22-25, 18-25, 17-25.
“(We) had a great first set,” said DHS Head Coach Brooks Phillips. “Girls talked and moved well, they really hustled and had some great plays where they brought the ball back in play.”
Senior Rylee Hilmo led in three of four team categories with 13 assists, 8 digs and tied for team best with Hannah Bradshaw and Deana Parke with one service ace each. Bradshaw was tops in kills with seven followed by Sydney Phillips with four.
