Fatal car crash claims one life, injures three more

GRANITE COUNTY – a two car crash occurred Sunday afternoon on Flint Creek Pass.

According to reports from the Granite County Sheriff’s Department two vehicles collided on the road Sunday afternoon. Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene at 4:23 p.m. located south of Philipsburg. One person - Arian Flanders, 31, of Anaconda – died as a result of the accident. Three more were injured and flown to area hospitals for treatment of life threatening injuries.

The report indicated that alcohol may have been a contributing factor in the crash.

The Granite County Sheriff’s Office and Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate.
