Child dies, three injured in Hall mobile home

HALL - Fire, medical and sheriff's department members were dispatched to a mobile home fire in Hall early Thursday morning.

According to a Granite County Sheriff's Department press release, members of the Valley Fire District were dispatched at 1:16 a.m. to Hall to fight a mobile home fire with four residents inside.

One victim, a child, was deceased on arrival of emergency responders.

Three family members survived the blaze. One was flown to an area hospital for treatment of life threatening injuries. The other two family members were transported by ground ambulance.

The Decedent has been transported to the Montana State Crime lab.

The name of the deceased will not be released at this time.

The Sheriff’s office in conjunction with the State Fire Marshall’s Office are investigating the cause of the fire.
