BREAKING: NWS predicting heavy snows for tonight, Wednesday

GRANITE COUNTY – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of Western Montana, which includes Granite County.

While temperatures are expected to remain well above zero, the snowfall totals are projected to see four to eight inches of new snow hit the ground. The only exception is the East Fork Reservoir, where as much as 10 inches could fall in the next 24 hours.

The snow is welcome to help the area snow pack; it will create some severe driving conditions across the state.
