Wagon Wheel Restaurant will partially reopen Sunday

DRUMMOND - You can almost smell their famous biscuits and gravy warming up already.

The Wagon Wheel Restaurant will reopen Sunday morning, offering take-out service for it's first week back after closing during the COVID-19 quarantine in March. The Drummond fixture will be open from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily.

Judy Sheets, owner of the establishment, said that they will open for sit-down service May 4, but will do so with only half of the restaurant's seats available to customers.

"I will be able to serve 35 instead of the 70," Sheets told the Flint Creek Courier in a text message, noting that Wagon Wheel would be in compliance with the social distancing guidelines.
