Hess, Cutler represent at East-West Shrine Game


BUTTE - It was a full house at Montana Tech's Alumni Stadium Saturday for the 73rd Annual East-West Shrine Football Game.

The contest features all-star players from all divisions throughout the state, pitting the best from the east and west against each other. The Flint Creek Titans had two representatives on hand in the form of graduated senior Kane Hess and Head Coach Mike Cutler. Cutler played in the game in 1988 and as a coach in 2002 and 2017.

Hess was a standout lineman for the Titans in their back-to-back state championships in 2017 and 2018 which culminated in a consecutive win streak of 25. During his Titan career Hess amassed 104 total tackles, 20 tackles for loss and 4.5 quarterback sacks.

Cutler and the 2019 edition of the Flint Creek Titans will start their season August 30th at Clark Fork.
