Lady Prospectors close season with sweep of Lima
PHILIPSBURG – The Granite Lady Prospectors closed out their regular season with a win over the Lima Bears in Philipsburg, 25-3, 25-9, 25-19.
Local volleyball teams will join with the rest of Class C when they enter District Tournament play next week. For Granite and Drummond that will mean the long haul to Manhattan Christian where the District 11 and 12 C tournaments will take place simultaneously. The tournament runs from Oct. 24-26.
Amelia Hill led the Lady Prospectors in three team categories Wednesday night, collecting 11 kills, four blocks and tying Emma Grange with six service aces. Grange was also tops in assists with 21 while senior Sierra Metesh collected 10 defensive digs.
