DRUMMOND – With 9.4 seconds to play in the first half, Flint Creek junior Avery Metesh stepped into the spotlight and the path of a pass by Scobey’s Jayce Tande. Metesh returned the interception 52 yards for a score and a lead the Titans would never relinquish as they claimed a 44-6 victory over the Spartans Saturday afternoon in the Montana High School Association’s 8-Man Football Championship. “We were in a man and we needed to make a play going into halftime,” said Metesh.
