DRUMMOND – Those wishing to test the waters of the efforts of the Town of Drummond to clean up the community may be met with some very undesirable consequences. In a July 5 letter, the Town Council of Drummond notified residents that they would need to clean up areas of their property that were considered to be a public nuisance. In an effort to brighten up Drummond, the Town Council has issued a letter to residents letting them know that they need to clean up certain items. The letter was sent July 5 and indicates that with two weeks of receipt of the letter, approximately July 19, town officials will report any violations to the Granite County Sheriff's Office. If the situations are not handled after 10 days they will be referred to the Granite County Attorney for prosecution.

Country singer Levi Blom performed "I Hope You're Doing Well" during his set as the opening act at the inaugural Midsummer Night Jam concert in Drummond Saturday night. The song, written by Blom, is a tribute his best friend who died unexpectedly. Blom carries some of his friend's ashes in a bullet pendant that he wears.
