WE'RE BACK! After a year away due to the pandemic, the 80th Annual Drummond Kiwanis PRCA Rodeo will bring the best rodeo talent around to the home of the World Famous Bullshippers! Hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Drummond, Montana, the event is one of the older continuously run rodeos in the Treasure State and takes place in the Frank Ramberg-James Morse Rodeo Arena, which is owned by the American Legion Gold Star Post 125.

Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for youth under 18 and children under six years old are free.

Sweede's and the Canyon Bar are joining forces to celebrate Rodeo Weekend with a Street Dance the night before the big show. The Mark Duboise Band will be on hand to rock Front Street starting at 8 p.m. and lasting until ... well ... whenever the party ends! See ya there!

Rodeo Day Happenings (July 11, 2021)

6 a.m. - 11 a.m. ~ Valley Fire District Pancake Breakfast (East Front Street)

9 a.m. - 11 a.m. ~ Rodeo Slack (Rodeo Arena)

12:00 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. ~ Drummond Rodeo Parade (Front Street)

2 p.m. - 5 p.m. ~ 79th Annual Drummond Kiwanis PRCA Rodeo (Rodeo Arena)

Valley Fire District

Pancake Breakfast

(6-11 a.m.)

If you're in town for the full day of events, then you'll want to start it right with a hearty breakfast at the fire hall. Located at the east end of Front Street (near Fic's Conoco Station) you can get a plate full of pancakes, eggs, bacon or sausage and something to drink all for a donation to the crew.

The Valley Fire District services more than 250 square miles of northern Granite County, using three substations located in Hall, Maxville and Gold Creek in addition to the main fire hall in Drummond.

The Valley Fire District is a volunteer fire department.

Morning Session

(9-11 a.m.)

Some riders can't stay for the main event, and so they compete earlier in the day during the morning session of the Rodeo Slack. If you want to catch some great competition without all the crowds, this is where you want to be!

Drummond Rodeo Parade

(Noon)

It's a slice of Americana that is not to be missed. With classic cars, old-time ranching equipment, local clubs and organizations and local celebrities all take part in what is growing to be a great annual event. The parade starts at Fic's Conoco Station on East Front Street and heads West. And of course there's plenty of candy for the kids. Get your spot early and bring your lawn chairs!

78th Annual Drummond Kiwanis PRCA Rodeo

It's a Montana classic! The 78th Annual Rodeo in the home of the "World Famous Bullshippers" will feature some of the best talent that the PRCA has to offer. They all look forward to this mid-season event for its high level of competition and traditional western feel.

The rodeo will take place in the Frank Ramberg-James Morse Rodeo Grounds, owned and operated by the American Legion Gold Star Post 125 in Drummond.

The Kiwanis Club of Drummond, Montana is a service organization that works to provide programs and activities for area children and the community at large.
